For the balushahi dough  2 cups All-purpose flour or Maida ½ teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Baking powder ½ cup Ghee or Melted Butter ½ cup Water

For Sugar Syrup  2 cups Sugar 1 cup Water 6 to 8 strands of Saffron 2 to 3 drops Lemon juice ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
