Pural poli is traditional Indian sweet flatbread recipe that is soft, light, addictive

Puran poli is also known as vedmi, bobbatlu, obbattu, ubbati, holige prepared for sankranti, holi, yugadi, navratri, diwali, ganesh chaturthi.

For the outer cover you need flour, oil, salt, turmeric powder. For stuffing chana dal, jaggery, ghee or butter and cardamom powder.

You can make this head of time and store for any occasions or festival. Serve it warm with ghee, aamras, basundi or amti.

This is my grandmothers recipe and she always made the best holige (ubbati). I hope you enjoy this as much as we do :-)
