I have used homemade dulce de leche, ice cream and churros. All links given in steps below. You can use homemade or store bought
For Milkshake
- 3 ½ to 4 cups Dulce de leche ice cream
- 1 ½ cup Whole Milk
- Dulce de leche, to drizzle
For dulce de leche whipped cream
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dulce de leche
For Garnish
- Churros
- Chocolate Bar
- Cinnamon powder
STEP I
Swirl dulce de leche around the (inner-side of) serving glasses and freeze it while you are preparing the milkshakes. Dulce de leche, to drizzle
In a blender, blend ice cream and milk until smooth. 3 ½ to 4 cups Dulce de leche ice cream, 1 ½ cup Whole Milk
Pour this into the glasses and freeze till you prepare the whipped cream.
STEP II
In a bowl, beat heavy cream, sugar, and dulce de leche until stiff peaks are formed. 1 cup Heavy whipping cream, ¼ cup Sugar, 1 tablespoon Dulce de leche
Top the milkshake with whipped cream and garnish it with churros, chocolate bars and sprinkle some cinnamon powder. Churros, Chocolate Bar, Cinnamon powder
Dulce De Leche Milkshake is ready. Serve immediately and enjoy.
- You can try this milkshake recipe using store-bought dulce de leche, vanilla ice cream or dulce de leche ice cream from Häagen-Dazs if you don’t find the time.
