Banana Rasayana or Balehannina Rasayana or Seekarne is a traditional and popular recipe from Coastal Karnataka (Mangalore, Udupi, Kundapur), which can be prepared in less than 5 minutes using just 3 ingredients.The recipe is called Balehannu Rasayana in Kannada. We call it Kele Hashale (hesale, hershale) in Konkani.

10 to 12Ripe Bananas (Elaichi or Kadali or any sweet banana, check tips)
1 ¼cupCoconut milk
½teaspoonToasted seasame seeds or til (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, add chopped jaggery or brown sugar. Chop the bananas into bite-size pieces and add them to the same bowl. Mix the bananas and jaggery and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Check out the video here.
½ cup Jaggery or Brown sugar (100 g), 10 to 12 Ripe Bananas (Elaichi or Kadali or any sweet banana, check tips)
To this, add canned or fresh coconut milk and mix. Finally, add toasted sesame seeds. You can serve immediately or keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Once the dish is ready, you can keep it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for the best flavors.
If you want it thick or serve as baby food or toddler food, you can also mash or grind the banana and add it to the recipe.
You can use fresh coconut milk or canned coconut milk to make this recipe.
Toasted cashews and cardamom powder can be used for additional flavors.
Any variety of ripe bananas will taste good with this recipe. If using long variety, 4 of them would be sufficient.
This is a very flexible recipe. Adjust all the ingredients to taste
