Instructions

  • Grease the bread loaf pan with oil or butter or line it with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add the following dry ingredients to a bowl – flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and mix.
1.5 cups All purpose flour, 1 teaspoon Baking powder, ¼ teaspoon Baking soda, ¼ teaspoon Salt

  • Bake it in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean.
  • Let this cool for about 5 to 10 minutes, and unmold the bread from the loaf pan. Transfer the bread to a cooling rack till it cools down completely. Then cut them into slices. Serve with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy

Notes

  • Use mangoes that are ripe and sweet.
  • See that the mangoes are not fibrous.
  • The cake’s color and sweetness depends on the type of mangoes used.
  • I use coconut oil, and it gives the dessert a different flavor. You can use any neutral cooking oil. Oil can be replaced with butter for a vegetarian version and a richer taste.
