¾ teaspoon Red chile powder or Cayenne powder, 1 teaspoon Salt, 1 Jalapeno, finely chopped, 2 Green onions, finely chopped, 1 to 2 tablespoon Cilantro or Coriander leaves, ½ cup Grated parmesan, ¾ cup Shredded cheese of your choice (I have used mild cheddar), 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
  • Spoon over seasoned hash browns into greased muffin pans and bake them in a preheated 350 F oven for 30 to 40 mins depending on the size of your hash brown bits and then broil on high (500-550 F) for 2 minutes or until the tops have turned light golden brown. The broiling step is optional. This will give it a crispy texture.
  • Transfer the cheesy hash brown bites to a serving platter, and garnish it with chopped green onions. Serve them warm/cold with ketchup, ranch, mayonnaise, or other condiments, and enjoy!
