Coarsely powder almonds and pistachios in a food processor.
12 to 15 Pistachios, 12 to 15 Almonds
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, coarsely powdered nuts, pinch of salt, and mix well.

In another bowl, beat egg with pinch of salt and keep it aside. (optional step)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Evenly spread about ¾ to 1 tablespoon of cream cheese at the center of the wonton wrapper

Now place 2 to 3 apple slices on top of the cream cheese and sprinkle some sugar.

Fold 2 opposite corners to meet at the middle of the wrapper and seal them together.
Brush with egg wash or heavy cream if desired and sprinkle some more sugar. (optional step)

Transfer to baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until it is light golden brown in color.
