  • 2 ½ cup Mexican cheese blend
  • 4 tablespoon Butter , melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil , to cook the quesadilla

Instructions

Step I

  • In a bowl, add melted butter, garlic powder and mix. Keep this a side.
4 tablespoon Butter, 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Heat cast-iron or non-stick pan or griddle on medium flame and grease it with some olive oil.
    1 tablespoon Olive oil

Step II

  • Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each wrapper.  Then, spread the cheese blend evenly over one half of each wrapper.
30 Twin Dragon Gyoza Wrappers (Potstickers), 2 ½ cup Mexican cheese blend
  • Fold the wrapper in half over the filling. Do not seal.

Step III

  • Place 6 to 8 quesadillas depending on size of the pan and cook uncovered for 1 or 2 minutes on one side.
  • Once the cooked side develops golden brown color , flip and cook the other side for 1 or 2 more minutes till the filling is hot or cheese starts to melt.
  • Quesadillas With Garlic Butter is ready. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can even use Twin Dragon Wonton Wrappers or Spring Roll Wrappers to prepare these Quesadillas. Since these Gyoza wrappers are round and mimic the shape of tortilla, I have used them in the recipe.
  • Vary the amount of cheese in filling as per your taste.
  • I have used salted butter. If you are using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt to the recipe.
