Lemonade Popsicles with Blackberries - Summer Frozen Treat

- 8 oz Blackberries
- 1 cup Lemonade homemade or store-bought
- ½ Lime zest
Homemade Lemonade
- 1 cup Water
- 2 ½ to 3 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 ½ to 3 tablespoon Sugar
Homemade lemonade recipe (if using store-bought, skip this step)
Combine sugar and ¼ cup of water in a small pan. Place over low heat and wait until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let this sit for 10 minutes.
1 cup Water, 2 ½ to 3 tbsp Sugar
In a pitcher, add lemon juice, the remaining water, and the sugar syrup, then stir well. Refrigerate till ready to use.

To make a lemonade popsicle with fruit
Drop the fruit and zest into the popsicle mold.
8 oz Blackberries, ½ Lime zest
Fill the popsicle mold with the lemonade and cover with the stick.
1 cup Lemonade
Freeze for 6 hours.
To remove popsicles from the mold, thaw for 10 minutes or run the mold under lukewarm water on the outside to loosen them.
- I had only blackberries in my pantry today. Be creative, and feel free to use any seasonal or frozen fruit you like.
- Instead of lemonade, limeade or raspberry lemonade can be used.
- You can freeze this for 3 months.
- Freshly made lemonade tastes the best.
- Add fresh mint for an extra refreshing twist.
- You can replace the water with sparkling water to make sparkling lemonade popsicles.
