Easy Cream Cheese Pasta | Noodles with Cream Cheese Sauce

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Noodles or pasta of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 Garlic cloves chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Crushed red pepper
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Marinara sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Red chile powder (cayenne powder)
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Boil pasta or noodles of your choice

  • Cook the noodles or any pasta of your choice according to the package instructions.
    8 oz Noodles or pasta of your choice
  • Today, I have used wide egg noodles.

Cream cheese sauce for pasta

  • Meanwhile, heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan. Add the garlic cloves and crushed red pepper.
    1 tablespoon Olive oil, 1 tablespoon Butter, 2 Garlic cloves chopped, ½ teaspoon Crushed red pepper
  • Once the garlic turns light golden in color, add cream cheese and reduce the heat to low.
    4 oz Cream cheese
  • Once the cream cheese is halfway melted, add milk and stir it occasionally till the cream cheese has melted, and the sauce is relatively smooth.
    1 ½ cup Milk
  • Add marinara sauce, red chile powder, and black pepper powder, and cook on medium heat for another 2 to 3 minutes.
    ½ cup Marinara sauce, ½ teaspoon Red chile powder (cayenne powder), Black pepper powder to taste, Salt to taste

Toss pasta with cream cheese sauce

  • Finally, add the cooked noodles and parmesan cheese and toss till combined.
    ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Serve hot, and enjoy.

Notes

  • Add any herbs of your choice if desired.
  • You can reserve some pasta water and use it at the end if you feel the sauce is too thick.
