Ingredients

  • 16 medium Strawberries
  • 2 large Bananas
  • cup Milk or Almond milk, yogurt, ice cream, etc.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey optional
  • 12 piece Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  • In a blender, add strawberries, bananas, milk, honey, and ice cubes and blend until smooth and creamy.
    16 medium Strawberries, 2 large Bananas, ⅔ cup Milk, 1 tablespoon Honey, 12 piece Ice cubes
  • Adjust the milk and fruit as per desired thickness.
  • Pour the Strawberry Banana Smoothie into the glasses. Serve and enjoy!

  • You can also add some dry fruits, nuts, oatmeal, or granola if desired.
  • You can either increase the quantity of bananas or add yogurt if you like the thicker smoothie.

Storage Instructions

  • As this smoothie can be prepared in under 5 minutes, you can prepare fresh smoothie and serve. However, if there are leftovers, the smoothie can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. As this is a milk-based smoothie, it has to be consumed as early as possible, else you run the risk of curdling the milk.
  • To make a large batch ahead of timeyou can use almond milk (or other plant/nut-based milk) or yogurt and store it in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 days. Do not use ice cubes as they will thin down the smoothie as it melts in the refrigerator.
