In a saucepan or nonstick pan, add cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and water and cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes or until cranberries start to pop and break apart.
2 ½ cups Frozen Cranberries, ½ cup Sugar, ½ cup Light Brown Sugar, ½ to ¾ cup Orange juice, ¼ cup Water
At this stage, reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook until the jam starts to thicken - about an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
Remember, this jam will continue to thicken as it cools down. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool down to room temperature. (You can blend if you want it very smooth or pass it through a mesh strainer)
This recipe yields about 1 ½ to 2 cups of jam.
Once cooled completely, store them in an airtight container or Mason jar in the refrigerator for about 6 to 8 weeks.
