Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 Dragon fruit or Pitaya cut into cubes, approx 1 cup
  • ½ cup Mango cut into cubes
  • ½ Long banana sliced
  • ¼ cup Milk or dairy free milk or coconut water

For the smoothie toppings

  • Mango
  • Banana
  • Almonds
  • Coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Chop the dragon fruit and mango into small cubes. Slice the banana. Freeze all the fruits. I freeze overnight.
    1 Dragon fruit or Pitaya, ½ cup Mango , ½ Long banana
  • Add all the ingredients to your high-speed blender and process until smooth.
    ¼ cup Milk
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl. Add toppings of your choice and enjoy.

Notes

  • Since the ingredients are frozen, blend as slowly as possible and scrape often.
  • Only add some liquid at a time. Add only as much as needed so that the smoothie bowl will be creamy and thick.
  • Frozen pineapple can be substituted for mangoes.
  • Feel free to add protein powder or nut butter if desired.
  • If you want to make a smoothie without bananas, then add avocado, chia seeds, or cashews.
