Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a bread loaf pan or line it with parchment paper, and set it aside.
Roast the walnuts in a skillet, stirring continuously to prevent burning. Keep this aside.
1 cup Walnuts
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
½ cup Butter, ¾ cup Sugar
To this add mashed bananas, eggs, vanilla extract, and mix until blended.
1 cup Banana, 2 Eggs, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until combined.
1 ½ cups All-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon Baking soda, ½ teaspoon Salt
Add the chopped walnuts to the batter and mix until combined.
Pour into a bread loaf pan.
Bake for about 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let this sit for 10-15 minutes before transferring it to the wire rack to cool.
Serve for breakfast, as a midday snack, or as dessert, and enjoy.
