Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the bread loaf pan or square cake pan with butter or line it with parchment paper and keep it aside. (I have used one regular loaf and one mini loaf pan to bake this cake)
In a large bowl, add dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and mix.
3 cups All purpose flour, ½ teaspoon Salt, 2 teaspoon Baking powder, 1 teaspoon Baking soda, 1 ½ cups Sugar
In another bowl, add butter, vanilla extract, milk, and orange juice and whisk until combined.
¾ cup Butter, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract, 2 cups Milk, 1 tablespoon Orange juice
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredient, pour the wet ingredient, and mix just until combined.
Add tutti frutti and gently fold them into the batter.
1 ½ cups Tutti frutti
Pour the batter into a well-greased pan and bake it for about 35 to 50 minutes or until done. Use a toothpick or a knife to check if the cake is done. The baking time may vary depending on the size of the cake. If the cake starts getting brown, cover the top with aluminum foil.
Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes. Then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack even before you slice.
