Tzatziki Sauce is a very delicious, creamy and tangy sauce that can be served with any sandwiches or as dip for fritters. This is prepared using yogurt, cucumber and dill leaves. My family loves this sauce with falafel or pita sandwich. It is very healthy, easy to prepare and gets over in no time.

Steps to prepare Tzatziki Sauce
- Peel and remove the seeds of cucumber. I have used one big cucumber.
- Grind all the ingredients mentioned above together (cucumber, yogurt, dill leaves, coriander leaves, black peppercorns and garlic clove) to form thick smooth sauce. Do not add any water while grinding.
- Transfer this to bowl. Garnish it it with dill leaves.
- Tzatziki Sauce is ready. You can serve immediately or refrigerate and serve when needed.
Tip:
- Traditionally greek yogurt is used for this recipe. I have used regular yogurt.
- You can use mint leaves instead of dill leaves.
- You can refrigerate the sauce for 2 to 3 days.
- You can also add olive oil if desired.
