Batate Gojju is delicious and popular konkani dish that can be served alone or as dip or even with steamed rice. This is prepared using potato and yogurt. I call it Indian style mashed potatoes. I love the aroma of hing, flavor of garlic, crunchiness of urad dal, chana dal, cashews and spiciness of green chilli very much in this dish. I have served it as dip with baked falafel.
