Honey And Milk Bread is a very soft and delicious, flavorful and sweet bread that is definitely worth try.
I love to try out different variations in my bread recipe. The crust of this bread is slightly different from the other breads that I have tried so far. I am sure this tasty bread will become your family's favorite. You can even toast this bread with some butter and serve and I am sure your family is just going to love this.

Preparation time : 3 hours
Serves : 1 bread loaf
Ingredients for Honey and Milk Bread
Active Dry Yeast - 1 packet ( ¼ oz / 7g)
Sugar - 1 ½ tsp
Lukewarm Milk - 1 cup
Butter melted - 3 tbsp
Milk powder - 1 cup
Honey -  ¼ cup
All purpose flour -  2 ½ cup
Salt -  1 ½ tsp
Olive oil - to grease the bowl.
Steps to prepare Honey and Milk Bread
Step I
- In a large bowl add lukewarm milk, sugar and sprinkle a package of active dry yeast into it. Cover, and let the yeast activate. This will take approximately 10 minutes.
Step II
- Add milk powder, melted butter, honey, salt and mix well.
- Now add the all purpose flour / maida little by little and mix it using wooden spoon or spatula till it comes together. The amount of flour required depends on the weather.
Step III
- Dust the working surface. Transfer the flour mixture and knead it for atleast 6 to 8 minutes till you get soft, elastic dough.
- Transfer the dough to bowl coated with olive oil. Cover and keep it in warm place for about 1 hour or until it is doubled.
Step IV
- Roll the bread to a log, place it in greased loaf pan and allow it to rise for another 30 to 40 minutes.
- Preheat the oven at 375 degree F. To give an artisan look to the bread, make slits using a sharp knife or a blade, and dust the tops with some flour before baking.
- Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes or until done. (Till you get hollow sound when tapping the bread)
- Allow it to cool down completely even before slicing.
- Honey and Milk Bread is ready. Serve and enjoy.
Tip:
- The amount of flour in the dough may vary depending on the weather conditions and brand of flour used. However see that you do not add more flour than required as this may make your bread very dry and dense.

You mean cups? I have used the one available in stores like walmart! If you are referring to the loaf pan - I used the standard size 9 in by 5 in.
