  • 5 strands Cilantro or Coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions

Step 1

  • I have used crinkle-cut fries available in the frozen section of supermarkets and baked them as per the package instructions for this recipe. You can either use any frozen fries or prepare your own at home.
    8 oz Frozen fries

Step 2

  • Melt the butter in a non-stick pan on medium-high heat and then add hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, and salt. Remove the pan from heat and stir.

  • Toss the baked potatoes in hot sauce along with cilantro and spring onions. Optionally, you can add crispy bacon bits or sauteed mushrooms on top as garnish. Loaded Fries in Hot Sauce are ready. Serve and enjoy.

Expert Chef Tips

  • You can build on this recipe by using these loaded fries in slider buns and making your super bowl night more enjoyable.
  • If you are preparing potato fries at home from scratch, you will need three medium-sized potatoes. I have used Russet Potatoes, Yukon Gold, Red Potatoes, etc., while preparing fries or potato wedges at home. Choose any variety that is readily available. Peel and cut them into desired shapes, coat them with oil, sprinkle salt and your favorite seasoning and bake them at 475 degrees F for 25 minutes or till they become crispy. Make sure to toss them halfway through the baking process.
