S'mores Dip is a rich and gooey delicious dip filled with melted chocolate, peanut butter, and toasted marshmallows. A perfect summer or show stopper dessert prepared using just 4 ingredients and ready in less than 10 minutes.
Recently I have been craving for chocolate dessert and you know chocolate cravings should never be ignored 🙂 Believe it or not my pantry is full of chocolates plus I bake something or the other every alternate day. So more chocolate recipes coming up on my blog. Stay tuned 🙂 Ok now coming back to my cravings, I wanted to make something quick, rich and ooey gooey with no fuss and ended with this dip. Nothing could have been easier and tastier than this 🙂
All you need is chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallows and some graham crackers. First, break up six chocolate bars and spread them evenly on bottom of the skillet. I have used Hershey's bar as they taste really good and these are my favorite. Feel free to use any of your favorite chocolate - milk, dark, or semi sweet, or even a combination of all. Next add dollops of peanut butter. The chocolate and peanut butter are meant to be together and their combination is one of my family's favorite. I hope its the same for you guys. A perfect combination to satisfy all your sweet cravings 🙂
I have used giant marshmallows as it was available in my pantry. Add the marshmallows on top of chocolate & peanut butter so that the bottom is completely covered. Marshmallows expand on baking. So I have halved them before arranging. If you have mini marshmallows feel free to use them. This will also make it easier to eat later. Put this in the oven and bake for 5 to 7 minutes. Here you need to keep a close eye as the marshmallows can be burnt very fast.
Serve the dip with graham crackers. Make sure you get the melted chocolate, peanut butter and gooey toasted marshmallows on every single bite 🙂
I have used 8 inch cast iron skillet to prepare this dip. I prefer using cast iron skillet for such recipes as the chocolate melts more evenly than any other oven safe dishes. Depending on the size of the pan and your liking vary the amount of chocolate, peanut butter and marshmallows. The dip will turn out amazingly delicious and perfect anyways 🙂

Ingredients for S'mores Dip
Hershey's chocolate bars - 6 (1.55 oz each)
Peanut butter - 12 teaspoon (4 tbsp)
Giant Marshmallows - 7 halved
Graham crackers - to serve
Steps to prepare S'mores Dip
- Place your 8 inch cast iron skillet on center rack of the oven and preheat the oven to 450 degree F.
- Evenly spread the chocolate bars on the bottom of the heated cast-iron skillet.
- Add dollops of peanut butter over the chocolate layer.
- Nest, arrange the halved marshmallows so that the bottom is completely covered.
- Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until the marshmallows are toasted. golden in color as desired. Keep a close eye on it. This can burn very fast 🙂
- S'mores Dip is ready. Grab some graham crackers and start scooping. Be careful as the dip and skillet will be very hot!
