This pear bread turned out great! I added extra sugar and mixed the pears in. Doubled the recipe to give another loaf as a gift and it was a hit!

This was so delicious! I added extra apples chunks for the crumble on top, and had to cook for another 15 mins in the oven. Delicious with a hot cup of tea as you suggested! 🙂

My pear tree gave me 40 pounds of Keiffer pears this year, what to do??
This pear bread recipe is a great start and helped me create some yummy treats for the upcoming holidays.
The bread did need to be cooked a bit longer, as one reviewer mentioned. This recipe is spot on and delicious, thank you!

So yummy! I’d like to add walnuts to the pear mix next time, but it was wonderful as is. I did reduce the sugar in the pears by half. It took about 55-60 minutes in the oven.
