    Ingredients
      

    • 2 tablespoon Oil
    • 2 tablespoon Butter
    • 1 Bay leaf
    • 2 Cardamom pods
    • 1 inch Cinnamon
    • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
    • 4 to 5 Onions small, finely chopped (2 large onions)
    • 2 Green chilies
    • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
    • 3 Tomatoes
    • 6 to 8 Cashews
    • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
    • 1 teaspoon Red chile powder
    • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
    • 2 tablespoon Cilantro coriander leaves, more for garnish
    • 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi
    • ¾ teaspoon
    • 8 to 9 Eggs boiled
    • 1 whole egg

    Instructions
     

    • In a pan, add oil, butter, bay leaf, cardamom pods, cinnamon, and cumin seeds, and saute for a minute.
      2 tablespoon Oil, 2 tablespoon Butter, 1 Bay leaf, 2 Cardamom pods, 1 inch Cinnamon, 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
    • Add onions, green chilies, and ginger garlic paste and saute on a medium flame for 10 minutes or until it turns light golden in color.
      4 to 5 Onions, 2 Green chilies, 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
    • Add tomatoes and cashews and blend to smooth paste in a mixie jar or blender.
      3 Tomatoes, 6 to 8 Cashews
    • Add this tomato puree with ½ to 1 cup of water for desired consistency and mix well. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
    • Add turmeric powder, red chile powder, garam masala, coriander leaves, kasuri mthi, salt and mix well.
      ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon Red chile powder, 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder, 2 tablespoon Cilantro, 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi, ¾ tsp
    • Cover this and cook for 3 more minutes.
    • Make some slit to boiled eggs and add it to the curry and mix. If needed, you can add water to adjust the consistency.
      8 to 9 Eggs
    • Add the whole egg and whisk until it combines with the curry, and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. (This step adds that dhaba flavor. Try and let us know)
      1 whole egg
    • Garnish with cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy.

    Ingredients

    Onions: Red, white, or yellow. Any onions will work.

    Tomato: Fresh tomato puree is preferred, but canned ones can be used.

    Eggs: Boiled eggs and one whole egg will do the magic here.

    Spices: A blend of spices enhances the flavor of this dish, from bay leaves to cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, turmeric, red chile powder, and garam masala.

    Step-by-step instructions

    Add whole spices, onion, garlic, green chilies.

    Step 1: Add oil, butter, bay leaf, cardamom pods, cinnamon, and cumin seeds in a pan and saute for a minute. Add onions, green chilies, and ginger garlic paste.

    Caramelize the onions.

    Step 2: Saute on a medium flame for 10 minutes or until it turns light golden in color.

    Add cashew tomato puree.

    Step 3: Add tomatoes and cashews and blend to smooth paste in a mixie jar or blender. Add this tomato puree with ½ to 1 cup of water for desired consistency and mix well. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

    Add all the herbs and spices.

    Step 4: Add turmeric powder, red chile powder, garam masala, coriander leaves, kasuri methi, salt and mix well. Cover this and cook for 3 more minutes.

    Add boiled eggs.

    Step 5: Make some slit-to-boiled eggs and add it to the curry and mix.

    Mix the curry.

    Step 6: If needed, you can add water to adjust the consistency.

    Add one whole egg.

    Step 7: Add the whole egg and whisk until it combines with the curry.
