    Equipment

    • Bowl

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 Medium cauliflower
    • 1 Onion chopped
    • 2 Garlic cloves chopped
    • 1 Green chile or jalapeno chopped
    • 2 Spring onion chopped
    • 2 teaspoon Sesame seeds
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil divided

    Sauces used

    • 1 ½ tablespoon Honey
    • 3 tablespoon Sriracha chili sauce
    • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • ⅓ cup Water approx

    Instructions
     

    Pan roast the cauliflower.

    • Separate the cauliflower into florets of desired size and nicely wash them.
      1 Medium cauliflower
    • Heat a non-stick pan or skillet. Drizzle oil. Spread the florets and roast them on a medium flame for about 10 minutes till they develop some color. Transfer this to a plate.
      2 tablespoon Vegetable oil

    Saute other ingredients

    • Add 1 tablespoon oil, onion, garlic, and green chilies in the same pan and saute till onions become translucent. Add salt while sauteing, as this will make the onions cook faster.
      1 Onion chopped, 2 Garlic cloves chopped, 1 Green chile or jalapeno chopped, 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil, Salt

    Mix the sauces

    • Add honey, sriracha chile sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce along with water in a bowl and whisk.
      1 ½ tablespoon Honey, 3 tablespoon Sriracha chili sauce, 1 teaspoon Soy sauce, 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, ⅓ cup Water

    Toss everything together

    • Add the sauce mix to the sauteed onion and garlic and saute for a 1 to 2 minutes.
    • Add the roasted cauliflower and toss till everything is combined.
    • Turn off the heat and add the chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
      2 Spring onion chopped, 2 teaspoon Sesame seeds
    • Serve hot, and enjoy

    Notes

    • You can use any chili sauce in the recipe.
    • Vary the spiciness and sweetness as per your taste.
    • Instead of cauliflower, you can even use tofu or paneer, baby corn, chicken, mushroom, etc. 
    • Instead of pan frying, you can even oven-bake or air-fry cauliflower.

    Easy cauliflower bites

    Honey sriracha cauliflower combines the sweetness of the honey and the heat from the chili sauce, creating a glaze for the pan-roasted cauliflower.

    These honey sriracha cauliflower wings are gluten-free and one of the best vegetarian appetizer options for your game night, Super Bowl, or any dinner party.

    Ingredients

    Honey: Sweet and sticky, helps sauce stick cauliflower. 

    Sriracha: Spicy and flavorful hot sauce. Use any chili sauce of your choice. 

    Soy and worcestershire sauce: Add saltiness and umami flavor.

    Step-by-step instructions

    Pan roast the cauliflower.

    • *I have used a vegan/vegetarian version of Worcestershire sauce. Make sure you check the ingredient list in the sauce before you use it.

    Serving suggestions

    • We like to serve these along with cocktails or mocktails for dinner and Super Bowl game-bight parties.
    • Serve it with salads rice bowls, and use it in wraps or burgers.
