    Equipment

    • 9 * 9 inch pan
    • Bowl

    Ingredients

    • 1 can Condensed milk (14 oz)
    • 400 grams Chocolate compound or chips (approx 14 oz) You can use semi sweet, milk, white or dark.
    • Christmas themed sprinkles as needed (optional)

    Instructions

    • Line a 9-inch by 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and keep it aside.
    • In a glass bowl, add condensed milk and chocolate. Add about 2 inches of water to a pot and bring it to a boil on a medium-high flame. Place the bowl on top of this pot (similar to a double boiler) and whisk until the chocolate completely melts and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
1 can Condensed milk (14 oz), 400 grams Chocolate compound or chips (approx 14 oz)
    • Alternatively, you can even make this in the microwave by heating condensed milk and chocolate for 90 seconds, stirring every 15-second interval.
    • Pour this into the prepared baking pan and top it with sprinkles. Keep it in the refrigerator for 2 hours until it is completely set.
Christmas themed sprinkles as needed (optional)
    • Cut them into pieces of the desired shape and size. Serve and enjoy.

    Notes

    • Transfer the mixture from the bowl to parchment paper immediately as the fudge starts setting very quickly.
    • Suppose you have a 12 oz chocolate chip bag use that instead of chocolate compound. You can use 12 to 14 oz of chocolate for one can of condensed milk, and it works perfectly fine.
    • Depending on the type of chocolate and its brand, the texture of the fudge will vary.

    About holiday no bake fudge

This Christmas fudge is the 5th no-bake fudge recipe I have added to my festive Christmas dessert platter this year, along with peanut butter fudge, oreo fudge, holiday white chocolate berry fudge, and chocolate fantasy fudge.

Yes. I prefer making a variety of fudge as it hardly requires 5 minutes of your time to mix everything and set. It also is one of the best holiday gifts. If you refrigerate it, you can make everything a few days before your holiday party!

To make this fudge look festive, I have topped it with sprinkles. Be creative and decorate it as you like, or leave it as it is.

    Ingredients

To make this festive-themed chocolate fudge or Christmas fudge, you need condensed milk and chocolate compound or chocolate chips. You can use semi-sweet, dark, or white chocolate.

I have added Christmas-themed sprinkles which is totally optional.

    Storage instructions

You can keep any leftover fudge at room temperature for two days and in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. You can even freeze it for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.

    Variations

    • If you want to make this fudge look like winter land, then top it with sugar snowflakes and more sprinkles.
    • You can top it with nuts of your choice (almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans) or even raisins and cranberries.
    • Love peanut butter? Add ¼ to ½ cup of peanut butter to the recipe before you set it.
    • Marshmallow fudge - Add ½ cup of marshmallow fluff to the recipe or add 1 cup of mini marshmallows.
    • You can even add a teaspoon of mint flavoring or swap chocolate chips with butterscotch chips. Basically, options to modify the recipe and make it your own are endless - be creative.

    FAQ

What is the best chocolate for fudge?

It's every individual's choice. I generally prefer to use milk/semi-sweet chocolate chips or compound. You can use white chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips instead, and the taste and look will vary accordingly.

This is the easiest fudge recipe I've made yet! I made a batch for my uncle who lost his wife who used to make fudge at x-mas every year - he said it rivals hers for sure!
