Coconut Date Balls are a holiday tradition. These bite-sized balls are easy to make with dates, coconut, and nuts in less than 15 minutes. Serve these as a holiday snack, after-meal desserts, or even in the form of gift boxes.

Coconut Date Balls | Best No-Bake Christmas Treats

- 50 g Cashews approx ½ cup
- 10 Biscuits I have used Marie, approx 50 g
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 40 g Coconut grated, approx ½ cup
- ⅛ teaspoon Salt
- 200 g Dates pitted approx 8 oz
- 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
Other ingredients
- ¼ cup Crushed almonds
- ¼ cup Desiccated coconut powder
Instructions
- Toast the cashews until golden on medium flame. Let it cool down. Then, grind it to a coarse powder.50 g Cashews
- To this, add biscuits and grind to coarse powder.10 Biscuits
- Next, add cardamom powder, coconut, salt, dates, and coconut oil and grind it to a coarse paste.1 teaspoon Cardamom powder, 40 g Coconut, ⅛ teaspoon Salt, 200 g Dates, 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
- Transfer this to a bowl and give it a nice mix.
- Take 1 ½ tablespoon of mixture and shape it into balls.
- Roll it into coarse almond powder or desiccated coconut powder to make it look festive. Serve and enjoy.¼ cup Crushed almonds, ¼ cup Desiccated coconut powder

- If the mixture is too dry, add more dates or nut butter so that they bind easily.
- Add oats or almond meal if it becomes too wet or sticky.
- Store these energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. You can also freeze them. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
- You can still make these date balls if you do not have a mixie jar or blender. Just make sure you chop everything finely.
- Are you not in the mood to roll them into balls? Spread it on a parchment sheet and let it set. Cut into bars and store.

These energy balls are quick and easy to make. The entire process takes less than 15 minutes. Holiday bliss balls are naturally sweetened with dates. You can customize it to your liking. Add your favorite nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and nut butter.
These date energy balls are vegan and can be easily made gluten-free and oil-free, too. These bite-sized treats are portable, making them good snacks during travel, picnics, kids' tiffin boxes, etc.

We have used pitted dates, oil, flavorings with cashews, coconut, and a few biscuits to make these energy coconut date balls.
These are rolled in coconut and almonds for extra flavor and to make it look festive.
Variations
Oats: Blend and add quick oats or rolled oats to the recipe. You can add nut butter to make it easier for them to stick to each other.
Seeds: Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, or sesame seeds can be added for additional crunch and flavor.
Dried fruits: Feel free to add raisins, prunes, cranberries, apricots, or figs.
Spices: To make it festive, feel free to add allspice or a pinch of ginger powder, clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
