    Easy Chicken Fry is one of the simplest yet flavorful chicken recipes. It's ready in 20 minutes. The chicken is marinated and then pan-fried until tender. This dish can be served as an appetizer or side with naan bread, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, chapati, or steamed rice.

    This pan-fried chicken fry is tender and juicy, bursting with flavors. Whether you serve it for a family dinner or a party, this will be a total crowd-pleaser.

    Even bachelors and beginners can easily try this instant chicken fry recipe. This dish can also be called chicken dry fry, masala chicken fry, Kodi vepudu, etc.

    Ingredients

    Chicken: Bone in chicken thighs or drumsticks. Boneless can also be used.

    For marination: turmeric, chile, garam masala powder, onion, ginger and garlic with fresh herbs like mint and cilantro.

    Step-by-step instructions

    • In a large bowl, add chicken, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt, coriander, mint, sliced onion, and ginger-garlic paste, and mix well.
    • Let the chicken marinate for 15 minutes (minimum) to 30 minutes (preferred).
    • Heat oil in a pan on medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and fry for 5 minutes, leaving it undisturbed.
    How to marinate chicken for pan fried chicken?
    • After 5 mins, flip the chicken to the other side and continue to fry for another 5 mins.
    • Now, reduce the heat to medium. Stir the chicken, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
    • Remove the lid, stir the chicken, cover it back, and cook for another 5 mins.
    • Remove the lid, add butter, garnish with cilantro, and give it a final mix.
    • Serve and enjoy.
    Cook the chicken until tender.

    Tips

    • Instead of garam masala powder, curry powder or kitchen king masala can be used.
    • Adjust the spices to taste.
    • You can prepare this with bone-in or boneless chicken pieces.

    Ingredients
      

    For marination

    • 500 g Chicken pieces thigh/drumstick with bone
    • ¾ teaspoon Turmeric
    • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
    • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
    • ¾ teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
    • 2 tablespoon Cilantro Coriander leaves finely chopped
    • 2 tablespoon Mint Pudina leaves finely chopped
    • 1 Onion sliced
    • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste Use 2 tablespoon if freshly ground paste is used. For fresh paste, use 1 inch ginger and 5-6 garlic cloves, 2 tablespoon water

    Other ingredients

    • 2 tablespoon Oil
    • 1 tablespoon Butter
    • 1 tablespoon Cilantro coriander leaves chopped

    Instructions
     

    • In a large bowl, add chicken, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt, coriander, mint, sliced onion, and ginger-garlic paste, and mix well.
