Kick start your mornings with these healthy breakfast smoothies. These are quick and easy to make, ready in less than 5 minutes with no compromise on taste.
This post is for all my readers who have been writing to me for long time now with a request to post some healthy smoothies and recipes for weight loss or lose belly fat.
Among the different smoothies out there, my favorite smoothie flavors are spinach smoothie, blueberry smoothie, and chocolate smoothie. No sugar or milk is added to make these smoothies. Best recipes to start with if you are on a weight loss journey.
Basic ingredients to make healthy breakfast smoothies
The common ingredients for all my smoothies are banana, avocado, almonds, dates, and oats. These give the smoothie a very creamy and smooth texture plus they come with a lot of health benefits.
In short, it's banana avocado oatmeal smoothie with a surprise!
All the ingredient amounts given will yield a glass of each smoothie, and it's really going to be filling and tasty!
For spinach smoothie or green smoothie:
All you need is spinach, banana, avocado, almonds, dates, and oats.
For the chocolate smoothie :
All you need is cocoa powder, banana, yogurt raisins, almonds, dates, avocado, and cinnamon. (you may optionally add oats for additional carbs and fiber)
For the blueberry smoothie:
All you need is blueberries, almonds, dates, avocado, banana, and oats.
Add all the ingredients to the blender with ice cubes and cold water and blend till smooth and creamy.
You can serve these smoothies to kids too. The sweetness that comes from fruits, dates, and nuts is sufficient for my family and me, as we really don't love anything too sweet in the mornings. For any additional sweetness, you can add honey or other natural sweeteners such as maple syrup, stevia, etc. or nut butter, or even whole milk.

Ingredients
For Spinach Smoothie or Green Smoothie
- 2 cups Spinach (loosely packed)
- 1 Banana , sliced
- ½ Avocado , chopped
- 4 Almonds
- 1 Dates
- ⅓ cup Oats
For Chocolate Smoothie
- 1 ½ tablespoon Cocoa powder
- 1 Banana , sliced
- ½ Avocado , chopped
- 5 Almonds
- 1 Dates
- ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 2 tablespoon Yogurt
- ⅓ cup Oats (optional)
For Blueberry Smoothie
- 1 cup Blueberries
- 1 Banana , sliced
- ½ Avocado , chopped
- 5 Almonds
- 1 Dates
- ⅓ cup Oats
Other common ingredients
- 4 - 5 Ice cubes
- 1 cup Ice cold water
Instructions
For all the 3 smoothie types follow the same steps
- In a blender add all the ingredients mentioned under each category and blend it along with ice cubes and water till its creamy and smooth. Stop to scrape down the sides if needed. Check for taste and adjust accordingly.2 cups Spinach, 1 Banana, ½ Avocado, 4 Almonds, 1 Dates, ⅓ cup Oats
