How to make a ciabatta sandwich?
- In a bowl, add lettuce or any greens of your choice, salt and pepper to taste, drizzle olive oil, and toss to combine.
- Slice each ciabatta roll in half. You can toast the bread if desired.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of basil pesto inside the top half of each roll.
- On the bottom half layer, in this order: Lettuce, cheese slices, tomato slices, cucumber slices, and some more lettuce.
- Place the pesto-coated top bun over the filling and gently press it down. Secure with a toothpick if desired.

Tips
- Instead of mozzarella, provolone can also be used.
- Wrap tightly for picnics and lunchboxes.
- For a caprese ciabatta sandwich, add balsamic glaze.
- Adjust all the ingredients to taste.
