    This smoothie or apple-pear milkshake is refreshing and perfect for any season, but especially delightful to drink in the fall when apples and pears are at peak freshness—a great way to feel energised. No yogurt or banana is used to make this smoothie. Instead, use milk and oats.

    Ingredients

    Apple: Any variety will work. Adds sweetness and fiber.
    Pear: For juicy texture and flavor.
    Milk: dairy-free or whole milk that binds everything together.
    Oats: make it filling and thicker.
    Dates: for natural sweetness.

    Instructions

    • Add all the ingredients to a blender.
    • Blend until thick, creamy, and smooth.
    • Pour and enjoy. You can sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.

    Tips

    • Instead of dates, honey or maple syrup, or even nut butter, hazelnut or biscoff can be added.
    • For a green smoothie twist, add a handful of spinach or kale.
    • To make it more hearty, add chopped avocados.
    • Adjust milk for the desired thickness.
    • Oats are optional, added for thickness and a nutty flavor. You can even add almonds or cashews instead.
    • You can make this smoothie vegan by using dairy-free milk, such as coconut, almond, or soy.

    • 1 Pear peeled and chopped
    • 1 ¼ cup Milk dairy-free milk, adjust for thickness
    • ⅓ cup Oats
    • 3 to 4 Dates pitted
