Bread Pizza or Halloween Pizza is an easy-to-make cheesy and delicious bite-size treat ready in less than 20 minutes. You only need four ingredients: bread, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and olives. These pizzas are great for spooky fun at Halloween parties, kid's parties, or even as an appetizer or quick evening snack.
Bread Pizza
Bread pizza makes a quick and healthy evening snack, appetizer, or even a side with a bowl of soup. Because I have made a Halloween-themed pizza, I have cut it into a round shape and added only olives to give it a spider look. You can simply use the slice as it is otherwise.
Halloween Pizza
Halloween is around the corner, and my boys are excited about it. I wanted to make something quick that is also delicious and spooky at the same time so that kids can have fun with their friends. Therefore, I decided to make this coin bread pizza or spider pizza.
Instead of making pizza dough or bringing home storebought dough, I am using bread slices that are cut into a round shape as the base for this pizza.
Ingredients
Bread slices: I use plain white bread slices. You can use 100 % whole wheat bread or brown bread for a healthier version.
Pizza sauce: Any store-bought pizza sauce or marinara sauce of your choice.
Mozzarella cheese: Nothing better than grated mozzarella cheese while making pizza
Olives: They taste good, and it is easy to make spiders with them for Halloween.

How to make Spooky Halloween Pizza for Kids
How to make spiders from olives for Halloween?
- Cut some olives lengthwise into halves and use them as the spider's body. Cut some more olives into halves (not lengthwise) and use these as the head.
- Next, cut some more olives lengthwise into halves, and then each half into thin slices to make spider legs.
- You can see from the pictures that I have placed a few olives over the pizza (to form spiders) before baking and a few after baking. I recommend arranging the olives over the pizza after baking, or else the olives will drift apart when the cheese melts in the oven.
Arrange the base
Using a cookie cutter or round-shaped bowl or lid of a container, cut bread slices into rounds and keep them aside. You can use leftover sides of the bread in other recipes such as bread pudding, bread upma, croutons, bread crumbs, etc.
Bake Coin Bread Pizza
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line the baking pan with parchment paper. Arrange the bread slices in the baking pan.
- Spread a teaspoon of pizza sauce, followed by grated mozzarella cheese, on each bread slice.
- Bake this for 7 to 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
- Once they are out of the oven, arrange the olives into spiders. You can check the video here on making bread pizza or Halloween spider pizza. Place the head and body and then thin slices of olives to represent the legs of a spider.
- Serve and enjoy.
