Bianca Pizza is a classic white pizza that is very simple to make yet so delicious, prepared using fresh homemade dough, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, olive oil, roasted garlic, tomatoes, and basil.
You will never miss the regular pizza/marinara sauce. One of the best pizza you will ever make at home!!!
This pizza would be a perfect addition to your next weeknight dinner, game night, or any other gathering /parties. I did not know that a simple pizza can taste so good until I recently tried this in LOTSA Stone Fired Pizza. The recipe below is my take on LOTSA's Bianca pizza.
I have served this pizza with garlic parmesan twists; a must-try appetizer. And if you are a Dominos lover like me, you will know what am I talking about.
Ok..Now back to Bianca or Classic White Pizza..
This pizza requires very few and simple ingredients and can be made quickly in larger quantities 🙂 So if you are looking for a party entree, then you must try this out. This can be served alone or with twists or salad. I would recommend serving alone or with twists because the twists are also prepared using the same pizza dough 🙂
The crust is crispy yet chewy, and I love crispy crusts. Roll it to any shape you desire. And when it comes to topping, I have added shredded mozzarella, dollops of ricotta cheese flavored with my favorite spices, roasted garlic in olive oil, fresh tomatoes and olive oil. Finally, the highlight for me or what makes it complete is to garnish it with fresh basil, red pepper flakes, and a generous drizzle of pesto and balsamic vinegar.
In my opinion, flavoring ricotta cheese, or adding pesto, basil, and balsamic vinegar to the pizza makes it a winner. I do not want to say these ingredients are optional. I highly recommend you try this at least once. And I am sure you will prepare this pizza frequently in the future 🙂
If you are a cheese lover just like us, then don’t miss to give this recipe a try.
