Quesadillas With Garlic Butter are quick and easy to make, cheesy and delicious finger food prepared using just 5 ingredients in less than 25 minutes. A perfect recipe for your next party, super bowl or game night or any type of gathering. A recipe that will be loved by people of all age groups.
First of all, I would like to thank JSL Foods for selecting me and giving me the opportunity to participate in the Super Bowl finger food recipe challenge with their Twin Dragon Wrappers. And I chose to use Gyoza (Postickers) to prepare these Quesadillas with Garlic Butter since these wrappers are round and mimic the shape of a tortilla.

I would highly recommend you try these wrappers: they are vegan, with no MSG and trans fat, and are premium thicker wrappers. Plus, you do not have to worry about anything sticking to the pan. This will give you a no fail end product.
Coming back to Quesadilla With garlic Butter, To be honest, I have already prepared this recipe more than 3 times now. There cannot be a quesadilla recipe easier than this. If you have the 4 ingredients in your pantry, plus your husband or little one helping you, it hardly takes few minutes to get this done 🙂 Finger food that is perfect a accompaniment while watching movie or game.
To prepare this, in a bowl, add melted butter and garlic powder, mix and keep this aside. I have used salted butter. If you are using unsalted butter, then add a pinch of salt if desired.
Next, I have used Mexican cheese blend. Alternately, you can simply combine two melting cheeses of your choice (e.g. Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Asadero , Queso Blanco ) if desired.
Heat a cast-iron or non-stick pan on medium heat. I have used a cast-iron pan. Grease the pan with olive oil. Place gyoza wrappers on the working surface. Spread garlic butter on one side of each wrapper and then spread the cheese blend evenly over one half of each wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half over the cheese filling. Do not seal the edges of the wrapper. Remember, you can vary the amount of cheese as desired.
Place 6 to 8 filled 'Quesadillas' depending on the size of the pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until it turns golden brown. Flip and cook on other side for another 2 minutes. At this point the cheese filling would have perfectly melted.
Does this not sound simple and easy? If you want to impress your family and also want to spend time with your family watching the super bowl football game or any other sporting event, then do prepare this finger food. Make sure to prepare plenty as you cannot help but eat while cooking, plus it is going to disappear in matters of seconds the moment you serve.
