Roasted Cauliflower Bites - Oven-baked Cauliflower Steaks - Best Appetizer and Side Dish Recipe.

    Baked cauliflower bites

These oven-roasted cauliflower bites are easy to make and among the most-loved recipes. The melted butter and oil caramelize the cauliflower florets. Every time you make this, feel free to customize the seasoning with whatever herbs and spices you have on hand. I have shared the recipe for basic roasted cauliflower.

Check out our Thanksgiving dinner recipe ideas and Christmas dinner recipes.

    Ingredients

Cauliflower: one medium head, cut into steaks or bites as desired.

Oil and butter: The combination yields excellent results.

Black pepper powder: freshly crushed for the best flavor.

Garlic powder: You can even try garlic salt.

    Paprika: For color and heat.

Check out the recipe card for the full list of ingredients.

    Step-by-step instructions

    • Preheat the oven to 415 degrees F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it with oil or butter, and keep it ready.
    • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets or steaks as desired.
    • Add this to a bowl and drizzle with oil and butter. Toss to coat.
How to roast cauliflower? How long to bake the cauliflower florets?
    • Add pepper powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt, and toss until everything is well combined.
    • Spread this on a single layer on a prepared baking sheet.
    • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden and crisp at the edges as desired. Baking time varies based on the size of the cauliflower bites.

    Tips

    • Want to make this vegan? Skip the butter and use oil instead.
    • Love cheese? Add ½ cup of parmesan and broil for the last 5 minutes. Your roasted parmesan cauliflower is ready.
    • Prechop the cauliflower and refrigerate it for a few days ahead for meal prep. Just add the seasoning and roast when needed.

    Air fryer cauliflower bites

I recommend using only oil while air frying the cauliflower. Air fry at 375 degrees F for 10 to 14 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes until golden and crispy to your desired level.

    How long to bake cauliflower?

Bake the cauliflower for 15 to 22 minutes at 425 degrees F, depending on the desired level of crispiness and the size of the cauliflower.
