Sweet and spicy chicken wings
The chicken is marinated first with simple ingredients, baked to perfection until crispy, and then tossed in sweet and spicy Asian-flavored sauce.
I highly recommend double or triple the recipe if you are making this for parties. I make more sauce than needed and store it in the refrigerator. These chicken wings will disappear very fast.
A Superbowl appetizer
The Superbowl party is incomplete without chicken wings. Chicken wings are the most popular among super bowl dishes. A survey shows that a record-breaking number of wings are eaten on Super Bowl Sunday alone.

Recipe FAQs
Chicken wings always taste the best when baked fresh out of the oven and tossed in sauce. But yes, you can bake the chicken wings ahead of time, cool them, and refrigerate them for a day without the sauce. Then reheat them in the preheated (400 degrees F) oven for 5 to 6 minutes or until they crisp up.
You can also make the sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Just heat it before you toss it to the wings.
Do not forget to coat and marinate your chicken in baking powder, salt, and cornstarch. And while baking, place your chicken wings on a wire rack oven baking sheet. This ensures good heat circulation and any drippings are collected in the baking sheet below.
