Chicken kali mirch /Murgh kali mirch is a very popular dish in India and is a perfect treat for all spicy food lovers. My family loves this gravy so much that I end up preparing it every other weekend. Recently I had few guests visiting us of which some of them were vegetarians. I wanted my vegetarian guests to get the taste and feel of this delicious dish. And vegetable that is close to meat is mushroom with its soft and chewy texture. So I thought why not use them?
The outcome was a super hit. Not only did my vegetarian friends loved this dish, so did the meat lovers!

It's true that mushrooms are much like meat in texture. This recipe has a lot of different types of heat. The serrano peppers and black pepper combined with the earthiness of the cumin sounds amazing. My husband loves spicy, and we are going to try vegetarian recipes for a while. I'm putting this on our list of recipes to try. Thanks for sharing.
