Ingredients
Mushrooms: You can use fresh white button mushrooms or cremini mushrooms. If fresh ones are unavailable, canned ones can also be used.
Butter: Salted or unsalted both work. Adjust the salt based on what you use. For the vegan version, use olive oil.
Garlic cloves: Fresh ones, minced, chopped, or grated.

How to make buttery mushrooms?
- Using a damp paper towel, clean the mushrooms to remove any dirt. Now slice the mushrooms lengthwise.
- In a non-stick pan, melt the butter. Add the garlic cloves and sauté until they are light golden brown.
- Add the chopped mushrooms and sauté for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until cooked and slightly browned.
- Add the pepper, salt, and dried parsley, and sauté for another 1 minute.
- Serve and enjoy.
Tips
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat on the stovetop in a skillet or microwave until warm.
- Avoid overcrowding the pan to get browned mushrooms.
- For better texture, cook the mushrooms on medium-high heat.
- Fresh garlic works the best.
