Homemade Grape Juice Recipe is a delicious, refreshing thirst quencher made using only one ingredient—perfect for a scorching hot summer day. This homemade juice recipe does not require the use of blenders or juicers or any addition of sugar, chemicals, or preservatives.

Homemade Grape Juice Recipe - One ingredient only

- 2 to 4 pounds Grapes, red, black or green
Instructions
- Wash the grapes thoroughly under running water and remove the stems.2 to 4 pounds Grapes,
- Put the washed grapes in a flat-bottom vessel and crush it using a potato masher.
- Boil the crushed grapes and their juice on medium-high heat for about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for around 10 to 12 minutes. As the crushed grapes simmer in their juice, gently mash them using the potato masher. You will also notice that the color of juice starts changing from pale greenish pink to deep red.
- Place a strainer over a clean vessel and pour the grape juice. Use the spoon to move the pulp away and keep the juice flowing.
- Once the juice reaches room temperature, continue to cool it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
- Serve and enjoy. Try to consume it within the first 2 to 3 days, as it tastes best that way.
Notes
- The natural fruit sugar content will be less if the grapes are not perfectly ripe. You may compensate for this by adding regular sugar, honey or agave.
- If the juice is too sweet, you can dilute it with ice-cold water or sparkling water (or soda).
- When kept in the refrigerator for more than a week, the juice starts to ferment. When left too long, it turns to vinegar. If you freeze it, it doesn't taste good on defrosting. So prepare only as much as needed.
- One pound of grapes will generally yield a cup of juice.
- Make sure you clean the grapes properly before consuming them. If possible, buy organic grapes.

You can use red, black, or green grapes to make home grape juice. Today, I have made this gorgeous grape juice using California red grapes. The grape juice recipe that I am sharing today uses the boiling method. This grape juice does not contain any fruit chunks; It tastes much better than store-bought bottled juices.
