Each region in India has different specialties and variations to each item below, so I don't think there is a standard recipe. All I know is Indian breakfast is broadly classified into 2 categories - North Indian and South Indian. There are again variations in eastern and western parts.
South Indian breakfast typically consists of Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambar, Chutney, Upma, Poori, Pongal, Bisi Bele Bath, Appam, Idiyappam, etc.
North Indian breakfast mainly consists of Paratha and Roti, Dhokla, Khakhras, etc.
But there are variations too, like kande pohe, poha, thalipeeth, toast, omelette, undi, buns, paniyaram, etc. I am sharing some of the popular and easy recipes that we prepare on a daily basis.
